About this treatment

Learn about Tesamorelin and what to discuss with a licensed provider, who reviews your health history and goals to decide whether it may be appropriate for you.

Tesamorelin is a synthetic peptide analog of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH). A licensed provider reviews your health history and decides whether it is appropriate. If it is prescribed, it is prepared and dispensed by a licensed U.S. pharmacy partner.

Two package sizes are listed — standard and higher dose. Your provider decides whether Tesamorelin is appropriate and which package, if either, to prescribe.

Common questions about Compounded Tesamorelin

What is the difference between Standard and Higher dose?

The higher-dose package supplies twice the volume at the same concentration (10 mL a month instead of 5 mL). Your provider decides which, if either, is appropriate — do not choose a dose on your own.

Does an online visit guarantee a prescription?

No. A licensed provider reviews your information and determines whether treatment is appropriate. A different option—or no prescription—may be recommended.

How do I use the medication if it is prescribed?

Follow the instructions supplied by your provider and dispensing pharmacy. Contact your care team if anything is unclear before using it. Do not use an illustrative website vial to determine a dose.

What will it cost?

Standard: $279 a month on the monthly plan, or $627 every 3 months on the quarterly plan ($209/month equivalent). Higher dose: $449 a month on the monthly plan, or $1,137 every 3 months on the quarterly plan ($379/month equivalent). Quarterly plans are charged in full upfront.
